- A study on the association between the Tips® campaign and adult smoking cessation found the campaign was associated with an estimated 16.4 million quit attempts and 1,005,419 sustained quits.
- An analysis on the emotional arousal levels to cigarette warning labels with pictures found that when compared to text-only warning labels, pictorial labels produced higher levels of negative emotions, which predicts higher quit intentions among smokers.
