National Network Resources for Special Populations September 2023

Networking for Health Equity is the alliance of eight CDC-funded National Networks focused on reducing tobacco and cancer-related health disparities. Each month, GHEA shares upcoming webinars, events and other resources from our fellow National Networks.

• National Council for Mental Wellbeing hosted office hours to discuss “Tobacco Use Disorder Integration” on September 12^th at 2:30 PM EST.
• SelfMade Health Network hosted a webinar titled “Enhancing Community-Clinical Linkages to Expand Lung Cancer Screening Nationwide” on September 26^th at 1 PM EST.

• • Iowa Cancer Consortium is hosting the 2023 Iowa Cancer Summit followed by the ACS CAN Iowa Reception and Policy Forum on November 6^th. Registration is now open.
